The gorgeous red rose was a delight to paint on Pastelmat with soft pastel and pencils.You may use other soft pastels to match the colors. The point is to establish a base of color to build on with the pastel pencils Here are the materials I used:
White, Lt. Grey or even Lt Green Pastel Mat
Unison Pastels: Reds: A15, P9(or Red 7)
CarbOthello pastel pencils:
330 Purple
310 Carmine
305 Vermilion
750 Black
100 White
365 Violet
335 Magenta
Derwent Pastel Pencils:
P270 Red Violet
190 Coral
Conte Pastel pencils:
19 Purple
11 Pink
