Final Fantasy XIV - AAC Light-heavyweight M4 (Savage) [WHM PoV]

My goal for this tier was to complete the first three fights in Week 1, which I accomplished. I saw any progress on this fight to be a bonus. Even so, I came close to a clear and simply could not pull it off. But that's hardly a heartbreaker, as a Week 2 clear is still very nice to have.

Finally, we have a Savage endboss that isn't a door boss again -- the last time this was the case was with E8S, over 4 years ago. Having the final floor of a Savage tier be two 8-minute encounters with a checkpoint between them was fine, but it had gone on for far too long. Now we get to experience once again the bridge between Savage and Ultimate in terms of fight length, as this one's nearly 13 and a half minutes long. The DPS check on release was known to be quite forgiving even by the standards of an expansion's first tier, but you wouldn't know it given this clear or one's own experiences in Party Finder.
