A nameless, amnesiac woman wakeed in a burning Wallachian field, with only a vague memory of Castle Dracula and an urgent urge to reach it. Rescued by a farmer couple—who are later killed by night creatures—she discovers a wooden staff that emits holy light to slay monsters. Along her journey, she meets hunter Trevor (who gives her a dagger) and mage Sypha, then joins a Speaker caravan. The Speakers reveal her back scars hold secrets, and their elder confirms her destiny is tied to Castle Dracula. Nearing the castle, she’s chased by creatures, saved by a white wolf, and finally stumbles into the castle, facing Dracula’s son Alucard. Initially hostile, Alucard softens when she calls him by his real name “Adrian” and shares her amnesia and mission, agreeing to shelter her.
