As Christians, we are called to a life of holiness, yet we often find ourselves wrestling with sin. This struggle can lead to doubt: "Am I truly saved if I still sin?"
The answer, grounded in the Gospel, is a resounding yes! The Christian life is a battle against our sinful nature. The presence of temptation and occasional failure does not negate our salvation, if we continue to turn to Christ in repentance and faith.
Jesus Christ has already won the ultimate victory over sin and death. Through His sacrifice, we are forgiven, redeemed, and empowered to live a new life. This doesn't mean we will be perfect, but it does mean we have the Holy Spirit within us, guiding us and giving us the strength to resist temptation.
The key is to abide in Christ. Confess your sins, seek His forgiveness, and rely on His grace to overcome temptation. Celebrate the progress you make, no matter how small, and trust that God is working in you to conform you to the image of His Son.
Take heart! The struggle is real, but so is the victory we have in Jesus. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.
