From 5700 to 3500 years before present, a culture known as the Oxbow Complex lived a semi-nomadic lifestyle in the Northern Great Plains. In this video I talk about their archaeological sites, including ice patch sites which have preserved organic artifacts and really cool mortuary sites, all while flintknapping one of their knife blades!
