We enjoyed a full day excursion on the the waterways around Dhaka. This is certainly the busiest river that I've ever been on. Everywhere you looked, there were boats travelling up or down the rivers, carrying both passengers and cargo. Both banks of the river was full on industry, whether it was making bricks to working on boats, every inch was a scene of activity,
