We started our voyage from Kentucky Lake to Mobile Alabama. More than 650 miles with 14 locks + dams. Jasons friend Ryan came to help us with the river and locks to take the boat back to the ocean. Our first night of rest we tied up to the trees of Wolf Island and when we woke up we were stuck, the locks control the tides here. Luckily a friendly fisherman gave us a tow and we continued down the river to our first lock. We made it to Alabama in 8 days of river cruising. This river crossing was serenely an unforgettable adventure we had sleepless nights, and we swam in alligator waters.
