On, January 2, 2019, we flew EVE, a Tecnam Sierra Mk 2, accompanied by CDL, another Tecnam aircraft, to Great Barrier Island in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf. Great Barrier is a beautiful place and an internationally recognized "Dark Sky Sanctuary" where you can clearly see lots of stars. Commercial flights , Britten Norman Islander's, were arriving just about the same time as us. Great Barrier Airport was momentarily 'Heathrow busy'.
