Protest Rocks Kurseong Railway Station Over Girl's Death in Train Accident

A toy train accident yesterday claimed the life of a young girl from Kurseong. The girl was seriously injured in the accident and succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at a private nursing home in Siliguri.

Locals have been staging a sit-in protest at Kurseong Railway Station since morning, demanding justice for the victim's family. Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) Chief Executive Anit Thapa, Kharsang Municipality officials, and other local leaders are among those present at the protest, showing solidarity with the locals.

A meeting is scheduled to take place soon, bringing together railway officials, local administration, family members, and locals to discuss the incident and potential solutions.

The community is coming together to seek answers and support the victim's family during this difficult time.
