In this video, Yonatan and I discuss the famous Isaiah 9 prophecy:

"For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government will be upon his shoulder,
and his name will be called
“Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
7 Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
upon the throne of David, and over his kingdom,
to establish it, and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and for evermore."

How has this scripture been interpreted by Jews and Christians throughout history? Do Christians hijack a Jewish prophecy about King Hezekiah and interpret it messianically? Or have Jews also interpreted Isaiah 9 messianically?
