When I got this turntable the tonearm always set down at the 7" record, actually a little bit inward. So I compensated for it so at least it would land on 7" records properly. I turned the adjustment screw counter clockwise in a previous video to do so. Well now I just fixed the binding linkage, but tonearm sets down too far out passed the edge of any size record. So I had to turn in the adjustment screw. So now it all works perfectly. Note: there is a diagonal rod that goes from the left front to near the tonearm base. This rod should move freely. If it doesn't, shoot some penetrant in the bushing/bearing that the metal piece rotates on at the tonearm side. This is what is binding. No disassembly was necessary.
