1970s Buddy L "Groovy Hippy Van" Restoration

Today, we have a rad restoration for you. This is a little Buddy L Van from (what we believe to be) the 1970s. We bought this little toy at a flea market in March of 2022. From our research, this came from a series known as the "Groovy Hippy Vans", which consisted of these vans all painted in different color schemes with different decals. The decals and super metallic paint is super cool looking, hence why we wanted to bring it back to it's former glory. The hardest part of this restoration was recreating the decals on the rear panels, due to their complexity and color scheme. As you could see, this van is really rough. A lot of the paint is bubbling and peeling off, due to the rust from underneath. Time has caught up to this little toy, but we are going to give it the love that it deserves.
Let me know what you guys think, should I do more Buddy L Toys? Maybe some larger Buddy L Toys? Possibly even something other than toys?
