Creating Steampunk Style Pen Blanks with "Armor Plating"

In this video, which was recorded during a recent IRD Zoom meeting held by the Carolina Piedmont Penturners Group (a Special Interest Group of the Waxhaw Woodturners), John Johnson demonstrated some of the steps involved in how to create a Steampunk style pen blanks using HVAC tape to mimic armor plates as well as a brief tutorial in how to make watch part pen blanks. For the last part of the demonstration, an acrylic pen blank was finished and polished with Stadium Pen Blanks "Magic Juice" before final assembly of the pen.
