"AÇÃO" SPECIAL - THE COLOR OF CULTURE

This is the story that is not addressed in history books: The "Agudás" – who represent a unique example of Brazilian cultural identity transplanted abroad.

"Agudás" are the former slaves and their descendents who took back to Africa the Brazilian identity. "The color of culture" crossed the Atlantic and went to Benin, the country in Africa that has received the greatest number of "Agudás", the returned ones.

This series, never presented before in a Brazilian TV network, introduces facts and characters of a story that is fundamental to rescue the African culture and the self-esteem of Afro-Brazilian people who form the Brazilian nation.
