Most Epic Mountain Bike Trail Santa Fe | Deception Peak

My name is Jason and this is Travel the Narrow Trail. In this video I embark on riding Aspen Vista, trail 251, Ravin's Ridge and back. I ride this whole thing aboard the Ibis Ripmo version 2. It was a blast on this bike because it climbs so good with DW suspension and you will do much climbing on this adventure.

Deception Peak is the highest mountain in Santa Fe that allows bikes. It tops out at 12, 320 or 3755 meters. Just below it is Nambe Lake. It is a mountain that is not easy to get up to but the climbing is all worth it when you see the view from the top of the mountain. Views range from the next closest peak of Lake peak and the Santa Fe Baldy, to the Truchas Peaks and even on a clear day such as this ride, you can see the Colorado Sangre De Cristo Mountains.

Tesuque peak is another mountain worth going to first because it's along the way and just below that is Santa Fe lake with beautiful views.

In this video I don't spend too much time on the climb up but instead, I spend time on sharing the amazing views, which I believe are the most epic views obtainable aboard a mountain bike in Santa Fe.
