This three-hour workshop offers participants practical insights into the design and application of mixed-methods research. It begins with an overview of the key principles and procedures for integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches into a research project based on the rationale that the integration of the two methodologies can enhance the depth and credibility of research findings. Drawing on real examples and lessons learned from the facilitator’s experiences, the session will present effective strategies for collecting and analyzing quantitative empirical data alongside qualitative observational data. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to design research questions, collect data, and conduct data analysis. The workshop encourages interactive discussion, experience sharing, and reflection, providing participants with practical ideas and inspiration to apply mixed-methods research to their own work.
