Comforting Castle Airship Build | ambient wind & music

A relaxing no commentary Aloft longplay of building a castle-inspired airship on a floating island. Enjoy th soft sounds of wind, birds, placing blocks, the occasional rainstorm, and Aloft's amazing soundtrack by Kyle Feehan.

This video is not a tutorial. It's not a speed build. There is no voiceover. It is six hours of ambient sound, relaxing game soundtrack, and watching a build evolve, with very minimal editing. The sound design of this game is incredible, and makes me so relaxed... I hope it helps you relax too. This video would be great for in the background while working, studying, or even going to sleep. I hope it helps relieve stress for you, and I hope you enjoy seeing this build evolve!

This build, like most of my bigger builds, was not really "planned". I picked a site I liked, with interesting terrain, I had a general overall idea in mind (ship + castle, experimenting with incorporating round structures) but after that it was just a matter of many hours of experimenting, trying things, spending a long time figuring out how to do something, then deciding I didn't like it and tearing it down and trying something else. This is all in creative mode, by the way, which means I did not need to stop building in order to collect resources, and had all the building piece blueprints unlocked.

I was just messing around until I liked it. Deeply focused on the part of the structure I was currently working on, and not really thinking about the rest of it. Trusting that I'll figure out what to do when I get to that part of the build. Just letting it all evolve from the terrain and discovering what the building pieces can do. Along with practical considerations like finding places for storage and crafting stations, and trying to make use of every interesting nook and cranny created by this organic building style.

It's not the most efficient way of building, and it doesn't make for super slick and minimalist builds... my builds tend to be more whimsical. For a long time people have been asking about my process... well here you go. You can watch me in action. I can't focus this well when I'm streaming, since I'm also trying to interact with chat, narrate what I'm doing, and be entertaining, so being able to focus in silence like this is definitely when I tend to do my best building.
