In this video, I hike the full length of the Appian Way (Via Appia Antica) — one of the oldest roads in Rome — all the way to its modern-day endpoint. With my Nikon FM2 loaded with Kodak Tri-X 400 and ColorPlus, I document the fading stones, cypress-lined paths, and quiet stretches of countryside where ancient Rome once marched.
This isn’t a typical Rome vlog. It’s a slow, analog journey through layers of history — part hike, part photo essay, part meditation.
📍 What you’ll find in this video:
✔️ Hiking the full Via Appia Antica from Rome to the countryside
✔️ 35mm film photography with Nikon FM2
✔️ Tips for shooting film on the move
✔️ Ruins, aqueducts, villas, and modern fragments
✔️ Reflections on solitude, time, and walking with intention
If you're into film photography, slow travel, and historical paths less taken, this is for you.
