How to change transmission oil + driveshaft seal on a manual (M66/M56) Volvo V70/S60/S80/XC90 P2

Time to fix a minor oil leak on the transmission in my V70. The left driveshaft seal is a bit damp and whilst replacing it I figured it would be perfect to do an transmission oil change at the same time. This is a pretty straight forward job that will increase the life of your transmission. And in my case I have had some trouble to sometimes get in to first and reverse. But now after the oil change it goes in to gear much better. So this is a simple guide on how to do it and what’s needed.

Oil plug washers: VO 11998 2 needed
Nut for lower control arm: VO 31201020
Driveshaft bolt: VO 30670602
Transmission oil 1L: VO 31280771 2 needed
