When I was a teenager growing up, Children of Bodom was one of the most influential band for me and my friends. The songs are unbelievably catchy and Melodic. Alexi Laiho was so charismatic. He even made me wanna play guitar and I actually had started taking lessons but I quickly realised it wasn't for me. Listening to these songs puts me back in that period of my life where everything was simpler and life just felt awesome. I used to watch Jaska Raatikainen drum cams almost daily. Needless to say Children of Bodom inspired me a ton when I was at a point in my life where I wanted to become a full time drummer. It inspired me to practice and to get better at playing drums to one day be able to play these songs. I'll forever be grateful for their music and listening to that band again lately has brought a lot of nostalgia.
