Freenzy is the stage name of Daniel Marcelo, a Brazilian DJ and producer from Curitiba who has gained international recognition for his distinctive approach to tech house. His music blends influences from Afro House, Hip Hop, and Latin sounds, creating energetic and dynamic sets.
Since 2022, Freenzy has released productions on prominent labels such as Hellbent, La Pera Records, Nervous, Clarisse, Moodchild, SOLA, and Tamango. His work has been supported by well-known figures in the electronic music scene, including Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Carl Cox, Michael Bibi, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Dennis Cruz, Hot Since 82, Cloonee, Chris Lake, and Solardo.
In 2023, his EP Transitions, released by La Pera Records, reached number one on Beatport’s overall chart, solidifying him as one of the best-selling artists in the tech house genre.
Freenzy has taken his music to stages around the world, including performances in Costa Rica at venues such as Zouk Club, Palio Sabana Club, and Ghaba Gastro Lounge.
