We’re back with another attempt at Ascension 10 in Slay the Spire: The Board Game! After failing last time, we restart Act 1 with fresh determination — but things don’t exactly go smoothly.
I’m playing the Defect, and my husband takes on the Watcher. From the very first battles, we’re on the brink of defeat, barely hanging on as we make our way toward the Act 1 boss: The Guardian.
Even after the boss fight and some helpful new cards, we’re still unsure if our decks are strong enough to survive what comes next…
