Season of Lights (Advent) Reflection 16th Annual Concert was held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 18th at St. Agatha's Church in Sellwood. Joining Peter Zisa in this year's performer line-up included: LeeAnn McKenna (flute), Sara Faux (voice, piano, & organ), Yukiko Zisa (Japanese Koto), Gracie Flowerday (guitar).The performance clips provide a summary of the 2022 Season of Lights Concert at St. Agatha and Mary's Woods Dunn Community Center.

2022 Season of Lights Holiday Concert to Benefit the Music and Faith Community

The mission of the Season of Lights Holiday Concert is to provide a meaningful and unifying celebration of the holiday season that all the members of the community can attend and enjoy. The spiritual theme of the program is peace, goodwill, and loving kindness. Drawing from the four corners of the Portland metro area, the program and its featured artists represent a collage of the cultural and faith traditions of the community.

This year, the third year of the Covid pandemic, faith communities and performing artists continue struggle to meet the spiritual and mental health needs of the community. This concert presented music from Brazil, Japan, France, as well as 9tth century Europe. The spiritual reflection embraces Christian and Jewish traditions.
