Lemon Pound Cake. I think it tastes just like the cake you get from Starbucks. Just saying. Lemony, moist and delicious.

Recipe:
LEMON POUND CAKE
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp.
1 1/4 cup white sugar.
Add to the bowl of your Kitchen-aid or if you don't have one, just use your mix master. No problem. Mix till combines. Add 3, room-temperature eggs, one at a time. Add the zest of 2 lemons,(reserve about 1 tsp zest for top of cake) 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp vanilla and 1 cup of sour cream. Mix till blended. Add 1 1/2 cup white flour, 1 tsp salt, and 2 tsp baking powder. Mix till combined. Pour batter into a loaf pan. No need to prep pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hr. If your oven is hot, like mine. Bake at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes. Remove from oven and completely cool. When your loaf is completely cool. Make your glaze. Add 2 cups icing sugar to a bowl and add 3 tbsp lemon juice. Blend with a whisk. There is a lot of icing with this recipe. Use as much or as little as you want. Sprinkle lemon zest on top of the icing. Very moist and full of lemony flavour. Love it.
