This video took place in Morelia which is a city and municipality in the north central part of the state of Michoacán in central Mexico, it is 3 hours away from Mexico City by car.

The name of the food event is “Morelia en boca” and we were kindly invited by Alonso’s sister Alejandra and Gabriel’s mother Jackie. Alejandra and Jackie are really immersed in the Mexico’s food scene, so we will recommend to go ahead and check out their Instagram profiles:

The food event was very well coordinated, it offered a super interesting combination between extremely high-end Mexican chefs and cooking techniques along with the mastery and wisdom of the lovely Mexican ladies shown in the video. We ate so many things, and it is important to mention that it was all for free and for that reason this time there will be no pricing on this description.

Morelia en boca festival takes place every year on the month of May, if you happen to be in Morelia around those dates, you might as well be able to visit the food event and have fun, they sale tickets online:
