KDF says 70 al shabaab militants killed in Kulbiyow base attack

Several Kenyan Soldiers are feared dead after a Kenya Defence Forces camp in southern Somalia was early this morning attacked by the Al Shabaab. There is no official figure of the casualties from both sides yet.
A massive battle followed the dawn attack and lasted for almost five hours as rapid response units from adjacent military camps moved in to repulse the attackers.
Reports say two trucks filled with explosives detonated inside the base before the repulsion that started at around 10am.
