How to make a Leather Bucket Tote - DIY PDF Leather pattern and tutorial for large tote bag

A Bucket Tote is awesome because it combines the tote bag casual feel with the size of a crescent bag or sack. It's super easy to just throw a few things in and hit the road. Perfect for a quick run to the beach and big enough to hold everything for a family picnic. In the video I'll show you how I made it and show how to use it as a handbag or extend the strap, make it a crossbody purse.

Sizes: approx. 20 inches wide X 12 inches tall.

My recommendation is to use a little thicker, medium temper leather for the main sides and straps, like 8-9 oz. For the main body front and back, you shouldn't use leather too thick. I use 4-5 oz., but depending on the leather quality, you could use 3-4 oz. too.
The strap and keepers and buckle are 1.5 inch.
