Back to the Future 4 - Episode 2 - The Search For Marty - Tom Holland - (Short Fan Film 2026)

In episode 1 we discovered Marty McFly Junior (Tom Holland) lost his dad Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) back in 1999. Disappeared. Gone without a trace. But a mysterious package from the future led him to Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd).

This is episode 2 in my Back to the Future 4 short fan movie. Marty Junior (Tom Holland) sets out to build a new time machine. But Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) has a few secrets of his own. What happened to Clara? Where are the boys? And most importantly... who's a clever girl?

There are currently no plans for an actual Back to the Future 4 film. This is simply a fan project. In this episode I dig deep into some of the most iconic films of the 80's and 90's.

This is episode 2 of a short fan film set in the Back to the Future universe. I originally intended to make this a 4 part series... but hey, the future isn't written, so perhaps this could turn into a 5 or more episode web series.

Yes, this uses AI. A lot. I try to limit it to narrative based segments (that push the plot), but it's very hard to create a new cohesive story line purely out of existing footage. (I know, the lip sync shots are horrible)...

Even with AI, these videos take a HUGE amount of work.
