Helicopter is a deeply technical way to get to know your wing at the stall and spin limits. On Zeno 1, the controls are more abrupt and the glider responses are more aggressively shooting, giving you slightly less time to react. Knowing your wing avoid you from getting in bad trouble in real situations and I use helicopter as one of my main benchmark. Getting out of a cravat with just a single deep braking on Zeno 1 is less likely. You need a combination of deep pump and stabilo line pull then another deep pump to get out the cravat. I have slowed down the helicopter, because the turn speed is disorienting at full speed spin.
Training in acrobatic maneuvers increase your safety margin immensely during your normal flying. However learning acro is potentially very dangerous. You have been warned!
