Knitting Vlog | Poly Slit Top by Yully Knit

Hi guys, welcome (back) to my channel and thanks for watching today’s video🫶

This time, I worked on the tee with mohair yarns - yes, I am a mohair person🥰 At the very beginning, I was a bit concerned about the size due to the gauge difference, but after all, I’ve had so much fun with this project! And now I’m really obsessed with the finished garment, I believe it’ll be worn very well and often during this season, late winter~early spring.

I’d also like to quickly mention about the yarn used for the project, Knitting for Olive’s soft silk mohair in colour Blood Orange 🦊🍅🧡♥️ As opposed to what the name implies, when I first purchased from the online store, I expected more of red shade for no reason. However, the more I look at it, the more it makes sense that it’s named as blood orange. It’s very cute red~orange shade, but it’s definitely not red red. It's quite challenging to capture the colours as they are, but I'm trying to improve my colour correcting/grading skills for better quality video with more accuracy, so please bear with me 🙏

Anyway, I originally planned the project with the red yarn, inspired by ‘Christmas in July’ that southern hemisphere countries celebrate… it’s so funny that it ended up with finishing the garment right before September, with this cute red orange colour instead😆 But it is what it is, that’s life😉
