Shot over a three day period (13-15th August 1980) this film covers a trip on the sailing barge May, starting from Pin Mill on the river Orwell, in Suffolk, and finishing in London, where the cargo is transferred to narrow boats. The film includes the initial loading of some cargo/supplies, some shots along the way, some shots near Tower Bridge, and a few other locations.
