I recently discovered this simple trick. I was having trouble on how would I travel to Meralco branches within our barangay, since my bill is past due and community quarantine is still on effect. My lazy self does not want to wait for hours just to get for a one-day travel pass and reach far-away Meralco branch.
Luckily I was successful to try to pay using Gcash.
At first I thought it was not possible. I kept on getting the "The MRN or Meralco Reference Number is invalid, until I came across a tutorial here on how to do it properly. Here in this video, I shared with you the mistake I made why I kept getting MRN is invalid; and also, gave tips and instructions how to pay past due Meralco bills properly.
