우리를 모른 척하십니까?/Do you not care us? - 막4:35~41





35 그날 저녁이 되자 예수께서는 제자들에게 말씀하셨습니다. "호수 저편으로 건너가자."/On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, "Let us go across to the other side."


36 제자들은 사람들을 뒤로하고 예수를 배 안에 계신 그대로 모시고 갔습니다. 그러자 다른 배들도 함께 따라갔습니다./And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him. And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him.


37 그때 매우 강한 바람이 불어와 파도가 배 안으로 들이쳐 배가 물에 잠기기 직전이었습니다./And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling.


38 예수께서는 배 뒷부분에서 베개를 베고 주무시고 계셨습니다. 제자들이 예수를 깨우며 말했습니다. "선생님! 저희가 빠져 죽게 됐는데 모른 척하십니까?"/But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, "Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?"


39 예수께서 일어나셔서 바람을 꾸짖으시고 파도에게 명령하셨습니다. "고요하라! 잠잠하라!" 그러자 바람이 멈추고 호수가 잔잔해졌습니다./And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.


40 예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨습니다. "왜 그렇게 무서워하느냐? 아직도 믿음이 없느냐?"/He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?"


41 제자들은 크게 두려워하면서 서로 수군거렸습니다. "도대체 이분이 누구시기에 바람과 파도까지도 복종하는가?"/And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"
