With water levels dropping, a navigation closure has already been issued for the Caldon Canal. Join us on board Narrowboat One Day More on a slow and careful cruise along the beautiful but very shallow Caldon Canal in Staffordshire. With water levels dropping due to the ongoing dry spell, navigating this stretch has become more challenging than ever. Despite the grounding concerns and tight squeezes through bridges, we are glad we were able to cruise this stunning canal before it closes.
