Gameplay of Douser Dualies FF on clam blitz. It's been quite a long time since I've last used this weapon, so I wanted to give this weapon another go. Thanks to @woolunderwear2522 for requesting this weapon. Douser Dualies FF is a mid range weapon that does low damage, okay paint output, is quite ink hungry, quite solid DPS overall, and has okay mobility. The kit is pretty solid as well. Ink mines are a deployable sub weapon that allow you to place down a mine on the ground. It's hides inside your ink, invisible to your enemies, and if an enemies is near it's activation spot, it will explode, dealing damage and mark enemies near the explosion. And killer wail 5.1 is a special weapon when activated, deploys six mini speakers that shoots a laser at opponents from a very long distance. The lasers keep following the opponent that you target with until the special duration is over. Now let's talk about the strength and weakness of this weapon and it's kit. The weapon is quite good at applying pressure from a safe distance. The standard fire covers a long distance and the bullet velocity is good, but the DPS and the accuracy are not that good. But in turret mode, your DPS is increased quite a lot and have perfect accuracy, but you loss some range. The paint output is just okay and this is the only dualie that can dodge roll once. The rolls does travel quite far, but the end lag is quite bad, leaving you quite vulnerable when in turret mode. Ink mines are good for keeping control of an area if placed in ideal spot. You can place up to two mines at a time and the explosion does good poke damage that combos well with other weapons. The mark on opponents is also good for knowing where they at. But you can only place the mines where your standing, so if you don't have any control, the mines may not be effective. And even with the good poke damage, it may not be enough to displace them. And killer wail 5.1 is good at displacing opponents from a good distance. Enemies have to constantly dodge the laser until the duration is over. And if the special is supported, this can make your push a bit more threatening. But the laser can easily be avoided if not supported. So when playing Douser Dualies FF, you want to focus on applying pressure from a safe distance while also trying to building your special up. You'll mostly use the standard fire for apply distance pressure. And once you have some control, you can apply some aggro pressure. Utilizes cover and try to dodge roll to close the distance and get a quick kill. You can also use the dodge to quickly retreat and punish opponent who recklessly approach you. Place down ink mine in area that enemies might approach from and once you have your special ready, activate it to apply more pressure. Try to target more opponen when using the special. That way, the laser is a bit more harder for your enemies to avoid. Fun fact: If timed correctly, you can perform another dodge roll once the endlag is about to end on the first. You can do a similar thing with the new dapple kit, but it more effective on Dousers. And just remember to not overextend too much and maintain your ink output.
