In Part 6 of our Canada Road Trip – Maximized Travel series, our family finally crosses the Canadian border and arrives in Lévis, Quebec. After settling in, we board the ferry across the St. Lawrence River to Quebec City, taking in stunning views of the skyline.
Once in the city, we hop on the Hop-On Hop-Off tour bus, exploring landmarks like the Plains of Abraham, the historic Citadel, and the legendary Château Frontenac, one of the most photographed hotels in the world. We wander through Old Quebec’s charming cobblestone streets, especially the Quartier Petit Champlain, known as one of the oldest commercial districts in North America, filled with boutiques and cafés.
The day ends perfectly with an unforgettable fireworks show over the St. Lawrence River, a dazzling celebration of history, culture, and family adventure. Quebec City’s magic makes this a highlight of our road trip to Canada.
