The PERFECT LENS for abstract photography?

In this video I break down abstract landscape photography and why I believe the telephoto lens is perfect lens to unlock this type of photography. I use my recent trip to the Elwha River (Olympic National Park), where I used two different telephoto lenses, as an example and I review my favorite photos from the trip in the second half of this video.
