Vintage Victorian Style 9ct Yellow Gold Turquoise Seed Pearl Pendant/Brooch London 1965

Pretty as a picture this vintage 9ct yellow gold pendant looks very much like an antique however she is clearly hallmarked with full Uk marks for manufacture and assay in London 1965!

Styled in the Victorian manner as an open work scrolling garland and set through out with natural half seed Pearls and natural Turquoise with the central Turquoise hanging in articulated form which sways alluringly when worn.

Crafted as both a brooch with secure pin and roll-over C clasp and also a pendant with a very versatile hidden bale to the verso allowing this one to simply ‘slip’ on to your favourite fie chain.

Beautifully crafted this substantial piece weighs a solid 7 grams and is quite sizeable at 4cm x 4cm,

CONDITION
Very good vintage condition.  All Peals original with no replacements or re-gluing. Original and secure pin and roll over C clasp to verso, fastens securely.  One small Turquoise is missing the tip of a few claws, our jeweller has ‘adhered’ this from underneath the Turquoise rather than replacing the claw tips, very secure now as replacement of the claw tips wold have been tricky given the brooch is made up of Pearls which do to like heat.
