This arena battle is an experiment based on the 1989 (1st edition) HeroQuest "Arena" from the rules of play, combined with the "Arena mode" from Avalon Hill's Against the Ogre Horde and First Light.

The "ATOH Arena" artwork is from Jon Metters (modified slightly in this case with A.I. to look overgrown and jungle-like for this special event).
