In Part 2 of my mobile mechanic van build, I’m diving into the carpentry phase of my 2006 Mercedes Sprinter van conversion. Watch as I use 2x4x8 lumber to create a strong foundation and custom shelving setup that will keep all my tools organized on the go.
I also install eight massive 2'x4'x8' cabinets—four on each side of the cargo area—stacked all the way to the ceiling for maximum storage. At the very back of the van, I fit a 52" Husky toolbox chest, giving me easy access to my essential tools at all times.
