مستند «باد صبا» ساختهٔ آلبرت لاموریس، اثری شاعرانه و تصویری از ایران است که در سال ۱۹۷۸ منتشر شد. این فیلم با استفاده از تصویربرداری هوایی، مناظر طبیعی و فرهنگی ایران را به تصویر می‌کشد و روایت آن از زبان باد صبا، نسیمی ملایم و عاشقانه، بیان می‌شود. در حین فیلم‌برداری، لاموریس در حادثه‌ای هوایی در نزدیکی سد کرج جان خود را از دست داد، اما همسر و پسرش با استفاده از یادداشت‌های او، فیلم را تکمیل کردند. این مستند در سال ۱۹۷۹ نامزد جایزه اسکار بهترین مستند بلند شد.

The documentary “The Lovers’ Wind” (Le Vent des Amoureux), directed by Albert Lamorisse, is a poetic and visually stunning portrait of Iran, released in 1978.

Filmed entirely from the air, the film captures Iran’s breathtaking natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage, all narrated from the perspective of the Saba Wind—a gentle, romantic breeze that drifts across the country.

Tragically, during production, Lamorisse died in a helicopter crash near the Karaj Dam. However, his wife and son completed the film using his notes and vision.

The Lovers’ Wind was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 1979.
