This is a dancing toy made around 1915. It is placed on the turntable of any phonograph and dances to the music while a record is played. This was made by the National Co. and there were several different variations of mechanical moving toys made by the company. The Dancing Rastus was original $1.50 and this example has the original box with instructions and advertisement for the other toys produced by the National Co.
