The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce (CCIE Bruxelles) organised the event "The Authentic Italian Table" in Brussels, at FoodLab Excellis.
"The Authentic Italian Table" is an initiative of 23 CCIE (9 North America, 12 Europe, 2 Asia) involved in the "True Italian Taste" project for the promotion of the Italian culinary tradition and of the 100% Made in Italy products. The purpose of the event is to promote, through the network of Chefs, a better knowledge of the authentic products and a consolidation of the presence of Italian food & wine products on the target territories.
On June 17th, 2019 12 Chefs of 10 Italian restaurants of the F.I.C. Belgium (the Federation of Italian Chefs in Belgium) took turns in 3 showcooking sessions, presenting to professionals and journalists several regional recipes prepared with PDO and PGI products, offered by 8 Italian Consortia, 10 CNA Agroalimentare companies and other Italian food producer companies.
