Here is a look at the epic VikingFest weekend, held at the South Australian Museum on 28 and 29 June.
The Museum was buzzing with hordes of adventurers coming to explore our Treasures of the Viking Age exhibition, sipping mead, admiring the magnificent longship, and throwing axes like pros!
A huge thank you to the stallholders who brought the atmosphere of a medieval marketplace, to the speakers who gave enlightening science talks on archaeology and history, and to the entertainers who brought laughter, wonder and cheer to the crowd.
A special thanks to the Adelaide Economic Development Agency, Events and Festivals Australia, and Castleforge Photography for helping to bring the magic to life.
