Ingredients:
*1st step :To boil Toor dal : (Using cooker) wash toor dal 3 times in water and soak it for 4 hr in hot water or overnight.
1) Toor dal (thogaribele) : yellow and orange both half cup each
2) Turmeric Powder (manjal ): 1 tsp
3) Jeera seeds (jeerige ) : 1 tsp
4) Oil (here) coconut oil : 1 tsp
5) Water : Total 3 glass (out of which 1 glass dal soaked water)
6)Kashmiri chilly powder : 1 tsp
(put all the above ingredients in a cooker and close the cooker lid properly , take 5 whistle (1 whistle in high flame and the rest 4 whistle in low flame )
*2nd step : (step by step) in a gas using any vessel (here i used nonstick pan )
1) Ghee (tuppa) : 5 tsp
2) Jeera seeds (jeerige) : 1 tsp
3) Garlic (bellulli) : finely chopped 8
4) Ginger (shunti) : finely chopped 1 inch
5) Red chilly :2
6) Green chilly : 2
7) Onion (neerulli) : finely chopped 2
8) Tomato : 2 (now use dal boiled water to smash tomato)
9) Boiled dal
10) Kashmiri chilly powder : 2 tsp
11) Coriander powder (kotthambari powder ): 1/2 tsp
12) Jeera powder : 1/4 tsp
13) Gram masala powder : 1/2 tsp
14) Kasuri Methi : little
15) Coriander leaf : little
16) Check salt
*3rd step : to give thadka
1) Ghee : 2 tsp
2) Jeera (jeerige) : 1/2 tsp
3) Garlic (bellulli) : 4-5
4) Red chilly : 2
5) Hing : 1/2 tsp
