Modifying a Swiss Army Knife for Whittling

In this video, I modified the pen blade on my Swiss Army Knife. For whittling, I typically prefer to use a sheepsfoot or wharncliff style blade. To achieve this, I simply filed the belly of the pen blade flat.
For sharpening, I used a few different grits of sandpaper, then two whetstones, and finally stropped on leather.
Victorinox steel is rather soft, which I prefer, as sharpening and honing is fairly easy.
