Our Outer Banks Road Trip ends with Roanoke, The Lost Colony, Manteo, Marshes Lighthouse & Corolla

We are on a road trip in our 2013 Ford Transit Connect converted camper van through the Outer Banks, North Carolina. This is day 3 of our Outer Banks travels and we are exploring Roanoke, Manteo and Corolla.

In Roanoke we visit the Fort Raleigh National Historic Site and learn about the Lost Colony of Roanoke. We then explore Manteo and visit the Marshes Lighthouse.

In Corolla we visit the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and keep our eyes out for wild horses. Although we did not find any, we were still able to see some exciting wildlife, chickens!
