This video tests the 1882 Fendeur under sail - using a Bermuda Cat Rig with no standing rigging. Interior ballast is 4lbs. on the keel floor. With just a moderate wind gust the Fendeur put the lee rail under. Performance under sail is compared to performance under power.
The RCWH Fendeur hull design has great potential for RC hobbyists as a platform for an experimental build. The hull has no ribs and can be constructed on any flat surface easily. Length is approx 24".
