This is a group of 5 songs performed in my Senior Recital in 1974. I was able to communicate with Mr. Rochberg following the performance, sending him my performance.
I have looked for performances on YouTube, and have only found Nurse's Song. I decided to share these for those who may be interested in knowing about them. It was very fun to do a time progression of his compositions. I love Red Red Rose.
Mr. Rochberg was so gracious. For one, he was happy to hear the earlier songs. He gave me notes on When I Am Dead My Dearest and Ballad. There are those who might find the guidance helpful.
My accompanist is Jeffrey Wood.
I am curious now about Nurse's Song, singing with no vibrato, then with. It must be that it was in the scores I had, which were hand-written. The performance I have heard on YouTube is performed differently.
