My story! Heart condition, pacemaker, recovery ❤️‍🩹

In today’s video I celebrate16 years with a healthy heart and I call this day Happy Heart Day! About my channel:
My channel is a kid friendly YouTube Channel on my channel I film exciting videos focusing on teen life style content and my health journey along the way! My biggest lesson I have learned from starting YouTube is it’s helped me to grow as a person by putting my self out there after sharing my story❤️

Who I am:
Hi my name is Daisy my hobbies are singing,tik toking of course and journaling. I love to spend time with my family and friends, and travel the world because there’s so much to see. When I’m older I want to major in journalism because I am really good with public speaking and I love writing!

My story:
Miracle Girl! I was born with a medical condition called complete heart block, which means I have a heart condition that affects the way my heart functions. At 6 months old my trike aspect value ruptured in three spots, and I had to have life-saving open-heart surgery at Sick Kids hospital my second home. Over the last 15 years I have dealt with the struggles I have faced to survive. God is giving me many blessings in my life so I can conquer my fears like the fear of more surgeries. 3 years ago on March 17, 2021 I had my pacemaker implanted I didn’t expect this day to come for a long time because for exactly 13 years I was a healthy kid. Until I then found out that I have 2 extra heartbeats that cause a problem with the rithumn of my heart. The solution was to get rid of them I must take medication but this medication also has a bad side effect. Causing me to have a much lower blood pressure compared to normal and ending in dizziness and fainting this is why I needed a pacemaker to pace my heart properly. Unfortunately the last few years I’ve had difficulty with my pacemaker and it has come to a dangerous point where I needed the pacemaker replaced. On Thanksgiving weekend 2023 became the scariest weekend of my life after under going a major heart surgery with complications occurring which caused me to be in extreme discomfort. Thankfully I am fully recovered and I am so incredibly grateful for all of the amazing research Sick Kids has developed asnd my family and friends who are always there to support me 🙏💙

My message:
My message to the world is to enjoy the little things in life because the little things in life mean and the most. Why I would like to share this message with the world is because every day we don’t think about why we are here and have a purpose on this earth. We go through each day not realizing why we are lucky to even wake up in the morning and that’s why I like to show through my videos that the challenges in our lives don’t stop us from finding the good ❤️
